Flu and Covid vaccine clinics 2025
We are starting our Saturday Vaccination clinics from Saturday 4th October. It is by appointment only and you need to confirm if you want both Flu and Covid vaccines (if you are eligible) or Flu only when you book.
This year we are allowing a 1 hour time slot, so you can attend anytime within that slot, you don’t need to come at a specific time, we hope this will makes things run more smoothly. You may have been sent a link to book an appointment, or you can call us, book online, on the app, or in person at Reception.

We will be offering further appointments but these will be within our normal opening hours, these will be the only two Saturdays.
Autumn Flu vaccine
You are eligible for a free flu jab if you fit into any of the following groups:
- Adults aged 65 and over (including those who will be 65 by 31 March 2026) – healthy people aged 50 to 64 are no longer eligible
- People with certain long term health conditions (mild Asthma not reliant on a preventer inhaler is not eligible)
- People who are pregnant
- People in long-stay residential care
- Carers – the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer’s allowance
- Live with someone with a weakened immune system
- Frontline health and social care workers can get the vaccine through their employer
Primary school children and first-year secondary school children will get a nasal spray vaccine or injection at school. Babies under two years old who are at risk can get a free vaccine at the GP.
If you’re eligible, you may already have been contacted by the NHS or the GP inviting you to get a free flu vaccine. If you haven’t heard anything yet, you can check in with your GP to book.
Flu vaccination is safe and effective. It’s offered every year through the NHS to help protect people at risk of getting seriously ill from flu.

Autumn Covid booster
You are only eligible if you fit into any of the following groups:
- Adults aged 75 and over
- Residents in an older persons care home
- Immunocompromised / Immunosuppression of any age
This is a narrower group than previously, based on who is likely to be most at risk of severe illness. If you’re eligible, you should receive a text message or a letter offering you an appointment. If you’re also eligible for a flu vaccine, you will be able to get this at the same time.
COVID-19 vaccination is safe and effective. It gives you the best protection against COVID-19.
